This is because the rich nutrients and vitamins in the Moringa plant provide great health benefits for the mother and the breastfeeding baby.

Moringa seeds and moringa seed extract when consumed can increase the levels of toxicity in immune cells. Hence, it should be avoided in large doses. Further, Moringa can also induce a laxative side effect if eaten in large quantities. This can lead to indigestion or stomach upset. Hence, it is suggested, to begin with, a small dose of ½ to 1 teaspoon per day and adjust to all its effects early on. And yes, Moringa products are not regulated by the FDA yet. But we do not doubt that the companies are not fools to invest in such a health-benefiting super plant! Nevertheless, it is important to not exceed the daily dosage of your Moringa. Consulting your doctor is always recommended.
